Invalid Information, Countdown Clock and no answers from support or client
I have to say I am disillusioned by what I have experienced with Gigwalk.
I applied, I accepted a two Gigs. The information is not valid for either of the locations that I picked. One has the wrong address and they lease space somewhere else and the other has a different business within the same industry at that location. I have tried messaging the client, sending emails to support, and looking at the Forum, which is mostly filled with outdated posts with hardly any comments, replies, or assistance.
I said that I could complete these jobs in what I considered a reasonable time frame for my schedule. However, I have received no assistance, the clock continues to tick away, and tomorrow, by the time I can get to this gig, my time will run out. I certainly do not want my stats to be based upon something that I cannot possibly address or fix. So, if I drop them, I am docked. If I don't complete the jobs, then I am going to be seen as someone that does not complete the jobs.
Not a great way to start out and I was hoping for better.
Do I drop the gigs? Do the one gig for the business that is at that location because it has a different name?
I am sad.

Hi Baxterc2003,
I know it's been several months since your original post. I just joined the Gigwalk team a few days ago. I have performed a few gigs already after I got my new smartphone - they went smooth. But I was wondering how it worked out on the gigs you were talking about? Do you have any advice for newbies like me?
Thanks,
Matt P. - From The Windy City

Hi Matt,
I too just joined and am already having issues submitting gigs. I'm not seeing a lot of positive comments but more importantly ANY gig walk support team answers.
I'm wondering, how have things been going for you?0 -
Hi Merideth,
I have found they do not have much work. You can not drive around for any distance for $3.00 to $5.00 dollars. The price of fuel in my area as about $3.35 per gallon for the medium grade. They recently had some funeral home jobs. Now going into a funeral home for a price sheet, and a few other questions for the fumeral home director is a little strange.
Best Regards,
Matt P.
