    Kathryn,

I got more info on this from our account management team. This was an unusual contract and should be only a one-time thing, rather than a new norm. The project even required additional Engineering assistance to price the gigs below the default minimum - so it's definitely not something you should be seeing a lot of!

Since there are gigs for several different products in one location, you are welcome to claim more than one at a single location, which might make the gigs worth your time. However, if they're not worth your time, please feel free to just leave them alone.

If the gigs don't end up being claimed and completed, then that provides valuable feedback to the client that the pay was too low for the work involved.

(Also, regarding the FAQ: that $3 - $100 is intended to be an example range and not a strict regulation. It's actually possible for gigs to be over $100 as well - and is actually easier than making gigs pay less than $3, since it doesn't require Engineering intervention.)

Kathryn, I see you're right! $3 has generally been the minimum in the past, but this is apparently an exception. I wasn't aware of this before - I'm going to look into it to make sure it's not a mistake.

    Thanks!

I need to point out that right on the gigwalk.com FAQ for new gigwalkers, it indicates a minimum of $3 for a gigl

Gigwalk is a mobile app for Android and iOS that allows you to find quick jobs (Gigs) in your area. Each individual Gig is represented by a pin on the map in our mobile application. These Gigs can take anywhere from 5 minutes to a few hours to complete and pay anywhere from $3 to $100.

Clients see the work Gigwalkers submit through the app on our back-end Gigwalk platform. This platform gives brands and retailers on-the-ground visibility and allows them to take action to drive more in-store sales.
