A few questions that need answered....
I just now found this forum as a link buried in the "support" link at the bottom of the Gigwalk internet homepage. It would be nice if the forum was a part of the app as well....
Anyways, I have some serious issues with Gigwalk. According to the app, I am now in the "top 5%" of Gigwalkers but cannot get approved for any gig over $6. I applied for 6 Mobile Phone Mystery Shops on August 5 (5 days ago) and they are all still "in review". Now it says there are only 2 days left to do the gig! If I do get chosen, I could have only one or two days (max) to do 6 gigs! That is hardly fair!
I emailed customer support about this but "Robert" simply copied and pasted a few lines from the FAQ, which I had already read--I am not stupid or illiterate and I do my research before asking questions. I was expecting a more personalized answer or some level of concern but nothing.
Also, based on some posts here and a LOT of posts in the Playstore ratings for this app, the app is glitchy and slow. I know I spend about 20-30 extra minutes per gig retaking pictures, waiting between screens and rebooting the app when it crashes. It appears that this has been a known issue for some time so why is it not fixed???
Yes, we do get paid (eventually) but it is hardly worth the stress and gas to deal with a buggy app for $4-$6. If the top 5% of your users can't even get past that, what hope is there for any user??
