Do I need to purchase items from a store or business that I'm secretly shopping? If so how do I do so? Is there a company card I use or my own money? I'm new so idk how this works

  No not unless specified. There is no "company card" you are an independent contractor, not an employee. Anywho, don't buy anything unless specified and don't expect reimbursement if it is not specifically promised in the gig instructions.
